Since our school was established in 2005, we have expanded our school from having only a tiny studio in Lam Tin to having 6 centres in places such as Fo Tan, Kowloon Bay and Tseung Kwan O. What we hope to do is not only to teach students ballet, but also to nurture a group of ballet students who can promote this performing art, and to become their companion during their growth.
I have been teaching ballet for many years. The kids whom I taught in the early period have become teenagers or even adults taller than me. Witnessing their growth gives me a sense of satisfaction, and the satisfaction is so great that I think it is indescribable. I am glad to have so many students to join the journey of growing up with me. I hope, in the future, they will become professional ballet teachers, and help spreading the essence of ballet.
Learning ballet is a long journey, as dancing is a kind of sports that requires a long period of time of practicing and training. Only those who continue their training can perform wonderful and attractive dances. Therefore, let me remind all students here, you may become an outstanding ballet dancer only if you never give up. No paid, no gain!
